The Museum of Samoa only holds a collection of more than 900 objects of material culture, old photographs, documentary heritage and audio visual materials. The majority of collections were donated by local families, friends and donor partners as gifts and for preservation and care purposes.
At this stage and further development of the museum, the Museum of Samoa welcomes the input and research commitment of community, its partners and stakeholders and again the public to help assist in the promotion of its work and its future developments.
From a very small team we have, we try our best to play multi roles in the work that we do at the Falemata’aga. We act as conservators, curators, administrators and tour guides to serve our purpose and to fulfill the excitement of our dear visitors and friends every day.
